Obituaries    Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005

ELIZABETH TUCKER BODEN passed away on January 22, 2005. (Æ83) Born on July 22, 1922 and a life-long resident of El Paso, Texas. She was a graduate of the Texas College of Mines and Metallurgy Class of 1943 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Life Member of the Gamma Gamma Chapter of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. A former President of the Nurse’s Aide Society of El Paso. She was a Daughter of the American Revolution. Worked for the Texas College of Mines, the State National Bank and All Saints’ Episcopal Church School. She was preceded in death by beloved husband, Samuel H. Boden Jr. and survived by three sons John, James, and Philip, and their families of six grandchildren; Paul M, Deborah K, Neil C, Mathew J, Daniel J, Emily C, and one great grand child, Ophelia Rose. Graveside Service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the La Mariposa Hospice at Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso, Texas. Interment will be in Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Elizabeth is the daughter of Locke Hosmer TUCKER, older brother of Harry Amos TUCKER, my grandfather.  Elizabeth and I are first cousins, once removed.
