This page is a summary of the images and issue dates of the 50 state quarters for convenience of viewing in one spot. Go to the official U S Mint web site for the history and future of the program. Clicking on the state names for 1999 thru 2001 will take you to the U S Mint's web page for that state--if the Mint's webmaster hasn't changed the page names again <sigh>

Clicking on the images will display a much larger very detailed image of the 1999 thru 2003 coins. Those with a high speed broadband connection will be comfortable with the larger images. Folks with a slow connection must be very patient to view the incredible detail. In any case, enjoy this page. If you're aware of something I've missed, please drop me an email.

On 11/14/02 Barton Burnell, who designed my choice for the Missouri quarter, created his website http://www.quarterdesigns.com. It's great! He has many images of the early designs of most, if not all, of the states. The site exceeds what I've been able to accomplish. <sigh> Don't forget to thank Barton.
