THE 10 PLANKS
OF THE COMMUNIST MANIFESTO

1 Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purpose
We call it property taxes and the BLM.
2 A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
We call it the IRS and "paying your fair share".
3 Abolition of all right of inheritance.
We call it estate, income and inheritance taxes.
4 Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
We call it government seizures, tax liens etc.
5 Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
We call it the Federal Reserve.
6 Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.
We call it the FCC and Department of Transportation.
7 Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
We call it corporate capacit, The Desert Entry Act and The Department of Agriculture.
8 Equal Liability of all to labor. Establishment of Industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
We call it the Social Security Administration and The Department of Labor.
9 Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country by a more equitable distribution of population over the country.
We call it Planning and Zoning and Super Corporate Farms.
10 Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc., etc.
We call it the Department of Education, the NEA and Outcome Based Education.
